Celtic Cross Amulet

This silvertone celtic cross amulet represents the four directions or elements on earth. The crux of the cross is a sacred point, called the omphalos, where heaven and earth intertwine. Though there is debate as to it`s pre-christian meaning, it follows the design of Wotan`s cross, or the solar cross used by many cultures. Celtic knotwork adorns this lovely piece, forming the triquetra upon each arm. This 1" by 1" amulet comes on a satin cord.
